1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely! Did you know, I actually had a destination wedding. There’s something incredibly special about capturing love in a place that holds meaning for you. Whether you're saying your vows on a mountaintop, by the ocean, or in a faraway city, I’m more than happy to travel with you and document every beautiful moment.

Custom packages are available for destination weddings, and I’ll work closely with you to plan travel, timelines, and everything in between so your day goes smoothly—wherever it takes place.

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session?

Absolutely! I’m here to make your engagement session fun, stress-free, and totally you. From picking the perfect location and ideal time of day, to helping with outfit ideas and posing guidance, I’ll walk you through every step.

Plus, it’s more than just beautiful photos.

Your engagement session is also a great chance for us to connect, for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, and for me to see how you and your partner naturally interact. That way, come wedding day, everything feels familiar, relaxed, and real.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

For Weddings:

Due to the nature of wedding bookings, deposits are non-refundable and secure your date on my calendar. If you need to cancel, the deposit will not be returned. Rescheduling may be possible depending on my availability and must be requested at least 90 days prior to your original date. A new contract and retainer may be required if your new date falls in a different calendar year or peak season.

For Sessions (Portraits, Engagements, etc.):

Life happens, I get it! You may reschedule your session once with at least 72 hours’ notice, and your deposit will transfer to the new date (pending availability). Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice or no-shows will forfeit the deposit. If you need to cancel completely, the deposit is non-refundable, as it covers time spent preparing and holding your date.

If weather or unforeseen circumstances impact the shoot, I’ll work with you to find a new date that works for both of us!

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

At this time, I offer high-resolution digital files only.

All images are delivered through a private, easy-to-use online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos in full quality. It’s a convenient and flexible way to enjoy your images across any device.

That said — I absolutely plan to offer prints, albums, and other keepsakes in the future! My goal is to give you more ways to preserve and enjoy your memories beyond the screen. Stay tuned for updates!

5. Do you offer mini sessions that are staged for a season or holiday?

Yes! I offer themed mini sessions throughout the year that are styled specifically for certain seasons or holidays — like Fall, Christmas, Mother’s Day, or even Back-to-School. Prices range from $90 to $125 and are typically 10-15 minutes.

My Kids only "Super Mini Shoots" typically range from $15-$30 and are typically 5 minutes

These sessions are short and sweet, with a beautifully curated setup that reflects the season while keeping the focus on you and your loved ones. They’re perfect for holiday cards, yearly milestones, or just making memories in a fun, festive setting.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course!

In fact, before we wrap up any session, you’ll probably hear me ask this exact question. It’s super important to me that you walk away with the shots you’ve been hoping for—whether it’s a specific pose, detail, or vibe.

Feel free to share any ideas or must-have shots with me beforehand, or speak up during the session if something comes to mind. This is your time, and I want you to love every image we create together.

7. what should I wear for my shoot?

Comfort is key. Wear something that makes you feel confident and yourself—whether that’s casual, dressy, or somewhere in between.

Coordinate, don’t match. For group or family sessions, aim for colors that complement each other without everyone wearing the exact same thing. Neutral tones, soft pastels, or earth tones often photograph beautifully.

Avoid busy patterns or logos. Solid colors or subtle prints help keep the focus on you, not your clothes.

Think about location & season. Your outfit should make sense with where we’re shooting and the time of year—whether it’s cozy layers for fall or light fabrics for summer.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

For mini sessions, you can expect your fully edited images delivered within 7-10 days of your shoot. I know you’re excited to see them, so I work quickly to get your gallery ready!

For weddings and larger events, the editing process takes a bit more time to ensure every moment is perfectly captured and polished. Typically, you’ll receive your final photos within 4 weeks after the big day.

I’ll keep you updated along the way so you know when to expect your gallery!
